REQUEST: Rezone 0.91± acres from Residential Single-Family (RS-1) to Commercial Planned
Development (CPD) to permit a maximum of 1,272 square feet of commercial uses to
include Vehicle and Equipment Dealers, Groups III and IV (boat, yacht & RV sales).
Development of the subject property will connect to public water and sanitary sewer.
No development blasting is proposed.

Community Development Principal Planner Alvin “Chip” Block reviewed the request, noted that Staff and Hearing
Examiner (HE) recommended approval with conditions, and informed the HE provided both the original
recommendation and the corrected list of four (4) participants for this case.
Mr. Block, Environmental Scientist Aaron
Martin, and agent for the applicant,
Patrick Hunt of Site Concepts, addressed questions from the Board regarding dry
detention plans for storm water runoff. The Chairman called on the Participants of Record and
Joseph Tidwell
indicated he was in favor of the rezoning. Commissioner Judah moved approval of the HE’s recommendation,
seconded by Commissioner Manning, called and carried.
