Executive Attorney/Client Session
of the Board of Lee County Commissioners was held on
this date with the following individuals in attendance:

County Manager: Roger Desjarlais
The Closed Session of the meeting was transcribed by Angela Klein of the court reporting firm of
Fort Myers Court Reporting.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 8:33 a.m., stating that the purpose of the meeting was
for the settlement discussions relating to eight (8) Pine Island Bert Harris litigation cases, and the closed session
would be held in the East Room.
Lee County Attorney Richard Wm.Wesch approved as to legal form and sufficiency the Affidavit
of Publication for this item, and read into the record the eight (8) Pine Island Bert Harris litigation cases.
The public portion of the meeting was then suspended to a closed session in the East Room. At
approximately 8:53 a.m., upon conclusion of the closed session, the meeting reconvened in the County
Commission Chambers with all Commissioners present. The Chairman advised that the Executive
Attorney/Client Session of this date was concluded, and requested the Board make a motion and vote to
authorize the Office of County Attorney to proceed with the Settlement Agreements in the eight (8) Pine Island
Bert Harris cases. Attorney Wesch stated that the Settlement Agreements of the eight (8) Pine Island Bert Harris
cases will be on October 20, 2015. Commissioner Manning moved approval, seconded by Commissioner Kiker,
called and carried.
The Chairman adjourned the session at 8:55 a.m.
